Medicare & Private Rebates

To assist with payment for psychological services you may be eligible for a rebate under:

Mental Health Care Plan

You can speak to your GP about whether you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan. This referral will make you eligible for up to 10 sessions per year. This means after paying for your session in full, you can receive a rebate. We can assist with processing your Medicare claim, however we do not hold responsibility for eligibility or processing of Medicare rebates.

A Mental Health Care Plan and referral by a GP must be made before a session for a Medicare rebate to apply.

Depending on your provider and level of coverage you may be entitled to a rebate from your private health provider.  A receipt will be provided to you at the time of payment. You cannot claim both Medicare and private health insurance.

Self Referral

You are welcome to receive support without a referral at the standard fee.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

A late cancelled appointment is a loss to three people:

  1. The client who is delaying their therapy progress

  2. Another client who has been sitting on the waiting list to see the psychologist urgently

  3. The psychologist who spent the morning preparing for the session

You will receive a SMS reminder with the date and time of your appointment 48 hours beforehand.

48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session without incurring any extra fees is required.

This allows us to offer thetime to another client who may be waiting for an appointment. A cancellation fee will be charged for less than 48 hours notice.

You may call call, text or email, even after hours, and we will respond to you as soon as possible within business hours.

We understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation.
